Applied Materials Application Engineer III in Xiamen, China
Ensure the success of tool on customer site by maintaining tool performance to meet customers’ requirements and working closely with customers to help solving their problems.
Deeply engaged with customer to demonstrate tool capability and promote tool adoption.
Use engineering skills to focus primarily on thin film morphology, defects and critical dimension (CD) analysis, communicate results, review data for in-depth analysis, deliver timely reports.
Collect high value problems from customers, translate high-level customer needs into product requirements. Interface and collaborate with other departments including field, engineering and R&D to develop and deliver solutions.
Work with customers to help create use cases that will promote further tool sales.
Stay current on YTG's product lines and carry out beta testing of new products/functions.
Provide scientific and technical support to Marketing, Sales, Field Service and other teams as required
Typically requires a master’s degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering. Candidates with other outstanding qualifications but only a bachelor’s degree will also be considered.
Must have 2 years+ experience in display, semiconductors or related industries, preferably in display industry. Have basic knowledge of inspection and metrology.
Self-motivated, creative, with good troubleshooting skills.
A good team player with good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
Fluent in Chinese and English.
Work location can be flexible, preferably Hefei, Guangzhou, or Xiamen.
Must be able to and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Travel % can be up to 70%, mostly to domestic cities.
