Your daily responsibilities include
Summary: The Financial Analysis Manager will support the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes and will assist in the evaluation of potential capital investments and M&A activities, reporting to theDirector, Planning & Analysis. This position will work with senior management of the company and with the leadership teams of the business units by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in the company’s annual budgeting process which includes the preparation of key budget assumptions, budget templates, budget instructions, and the budget presentation to the Board of Directors.
Assist in the preparation of the company’s consolidated quarterly forecasts that support Wall Street guidance as well as the company’s five-year forecast model that supports strategic decision making.
Assist in the development and review of pro forma financial analysis supporting significant capital projects.
Assist in the development of pro forma financial analysis of M&A candidates and review of strategic and tactical rationale for the acquisitions.
One of the primary points of contact between Corporate Finance and the Property finance teams.
Overall responsibility of the company’s Daily Operating Report and Quarterly Operating Report.
Review sell side analyst models and research and maintain consensus estimates.
Estimate the potential impact of regulatory changes and competitor developments.
Key point person in the implementation and rollout of the new company-wide budgeting and forecasting software.
Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested.

Education and/or Experience:
Four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with five to seven years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting under GAAP and SEC requirements. Ideal candidate would have experience in managing budgeting and forecasting processes for multi-unit company or division as well as experience in analyzing M&A transactions.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively with research analysts, institutional investors and brokers. Ability to present to large groups.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, algebra, geometry and calculus. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with situations involving multiple variables where only limited standardization exists. Ability to offer ideas to senior management that will add value to the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work with complex financial models, managing a high volume of data inputs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software applications. Ability to build Excel macros a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated skill in performing financial analysis, including review of external financial statements, analysis of key business metrics, development of pro forma P&L, and ROI analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and the investment community.
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
