Raytheon Technologies Manager, Employee and Labor Relations in Windsor Locks, Connecticut

This individual contributor Manager, Employee and Labor Relations will develop and execute enterprise labor strategies and positive employee relations strategies. This position will be supporting the E&LR COE through project management of related employee and labor relations programs.

This position can be worked remotely or from any Collins Aerospace domestic location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy enterprise practices and guidelines for key processes ensuring alignment with Corporate strategy, values, Code of Conduct, and the Collins Path.

  • Identify and mitigate systemic organizational risk related to complex employment-related matters, business initiatives and crisis management.

  • Ensure the effective delivery of employee and labor relations support and services through the employee and labor relations network.

  • Interface with key functions ensuring alignment and the incorporation of positive employee relations in functional processes and practice.

  • Coach and educate HR and leaders on positive employee relations, key processes, policies and policy interpretation.

  • Coach and educate HR and leaders on labor strategies. Skilled at interpreting process, and policy, and advising managers and employees accordingly. Leverages employee experience insights to inform personnel policy and practice decisions in areas such as wages, benefits, work rules and management practices.

  • Coach/guide labor relations partners and management through interpreting collective bargaining agreement provisions, supporting the grievance process, arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.

  • Conduct enterprise trend analysis to identify insights, risks, and systemic workplace patterns.

  • Understand the effects of company culture and practices on employee engagement.

  • Seasoned professional able to administer labor and employee relations programs and support management interests related to employee and labor relations initiatives and issues.

  • Provide project management and process support for Collins Employee & Labor Relations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is Required

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30%.

  • Must be a US Person/ Permanent Resident 'Green Card' holder
