JPMorgan Chase Data Domain Architect Lead in Wilmington, Delaware
This position will be responsible for the creation, development, administration and maintenance of the financial reporting applications across the Consumer & Community Banking line of business.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Work closely with business, MIS, technology and project partners to understand business requirement, drive analysis and design of Essbase build or Essbase sourcing solutions
Extensive experience in developing Essbase cubes in all storage types and which storage type/architecture best suits each use case
Coordinate with supports groups such as DBAs, Unix, Oracle/SQL Server admins to get issues resolved in a quick turnaround
Working with data and architects to help design optimal end to end solution
Provide operational support to internal customers (MIS, Finance, Controllers) and advising on best practices
Create data extraction process for dashboard reporting
Ability to analyze changes with potential impacts and provide feedback as well as possible solutions to any issues
Make changes to Essbase environments allowing different views in support of financial reporting
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or financial systems discipline
Minimum of 8 years' experience as an Essbase Administrator
Experience with Linux shell scripting required
Good knowledge of relational databases preferably SQL Server and Oracle
Knowledge of ETL
Must have technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at the same time
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using Agile methodology and JIRA
