Responsibilities

The Guidehouse Federal Health team seeks a Senior Consultant who is inquisitive, eager to learn, and has previous experience in healthcare management consulting and/or professional services.

During your full-time assignment, responsibilities will include client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure success across some of the most significant challenges facing federal healthcare clients. Senior Consultants lead teams with collecting and analyzing data, identifying gaps, and providing recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Senior Consultants are also expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.

The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables. You will have an opportunity to coach and train other consultants and help with continuous development and refinement of the team's methodologies.

Qualifications

Skills Preferred:

  • 2+ years of healthcare management consulting and/or professional services experience

  • Ability to develop strong team and client relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)

  • Strong Excel and Visio skills

  • Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset

Desired

  • NIH experience

  • Expertise with MS Teams

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or CAPM)

  • Lean Six Sigma

Additional Requirements
