Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for multiple full-time Clinician positions with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.
This new program will exclusively serve people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.
The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.
Services will be provided to clients / adult inmates within San Diego County jail facilities.
As a Clinician with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:
Providing mental health services to program clients one-to-one and in-person
Performing psychosocial evaluations
Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention
Documenting treatment and client progress
Participating in clinical team meetings
Taking a leadership role in individual treatment team planning
Consulting and collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff
Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services
As a new employee in this role you can expect a starting salary between $82,000 and $95,000.
Liberty takes into consideration relevant work experience, professional licensure status and credentials, work schedule / shift, and worksite location when determining a new hire’s specific starting salary.

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally as a LCSW or LMFT.
