Livongo Credentialing Specialist - Medical Affairs in United States
Under the general direction of the Director, Medical Affairs, the Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for credentialing, re-credentialing and/or licensing physicians and assisting with other varies duties.
Participate in credentialing, re-credentialing and/or State License activities.
Assist with uploading physician applications and entering new Physician data into Credentialing Software
Review all Physician applications for accuracy and verify that all supporting documents have been received.
Access various sources (e.g., FCVS, medical schools, physician practices) to obtain documents needed for credentialing.
Build and maintain relationships with our physicians.
Serve as the single point of contact for assigned physicians.
Review provider credentialing files for submission to clients.
Maintain continuous follow up with client facilities.
Assist clients in completing the credentialing and the reappointment process for our physicians. (e.g., follow-up for affiliations)
Produce credentialing and licensing queries and reports.
4-6 years’ experience in a medical office setting and/or credentialing physicians in a telemedicine environment
Excellent customer services skills
Clinical, medical terminology background
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Ability to deal with difficult clients / situations
