Neuberger Berman Associate in China
Manage daily fund operations of local public / private funds and segregated accounts, including (but not limited to) subscriptions, redemptions, valuation, cash transfers, trade settlement, and client reporting
Supervise accounts payable process and other risk control points with internal teams and external service providers
Coordinate new fund launch/account setup projects, actively liaise with relevant stakeholders and external brokers, custodians, and service providers to ensure effective project execution
Design and document operational policies and procedures
Actively review service level agreements with business partners and service providers, to ensure quality and timely services that fulfill local regulatory requirements and our group standards
Resolve operational exceptions, including (but not limited to) price discrepancies, variances (over pre-defined tolerance), settlement breaks, etc.
Produce accurate and timely metrics for management reporting
Escalate issues and provide suggestions to senior management
Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines
Experience in domestic mutual fund (or private fund) operations; transfer agency experience is particularly preferred
Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives settlement process
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner to both technical and business audiences
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with Hundsun highly preferred; experience in platforms like Aladdin and Charles River a plus.
Effective time management skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and function well independently in a dynamic, changing environment.
