Customer Service Support

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $17.50

This position is responsible for performing administrative support and advanced clerical duties for the Customer Sales and Service Department.

Administration Major Deliverables

  • Knowledge of administrative and advanced clerical procedures.

  • Advanced PC skills are essential, e.g. Windows XP, MS Office 2003, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat , AS400, Oracle, CRM, AlcoaDirect.

  • Develop and maintain PC based queries and other reports as required by the sales service unit.

  • Compile information for maintaining and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports, as required.

  • Create/Maintain charts to track department metrics and outstanding forms.

  • Administrative accuracy of customer POs.

  • Tax-Exempt Certificate verification.

  • Review ARI trends and work towards solving root cause

  • Administer and be accountable for entering misses for the VMI order type 99 program.

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare written quotations, communicate pricing requests to marketing and then follow-up with customer.

  • First responder to Cold Calls. Forward information to appropriate CSR.

  • Entry of information into quote system

  • Customer paperwork administration [responds to cert requests, export shipment paper, send paperwork to prime contractor and sub, entering shipment information in customers systems]
