Robert Half Staff Accountant/Accounting clerk in Tampa, Florida
The Staff Accountant will have significant responsibility for maintaining the accounting records of the company. They will prepare journal entries, reconciliations and account analyses in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate supporting documentation. They will help ensure timely month-end closes and assist with the external audit and other reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Month-end close administration
Audit schedule preparation
Maintain fixed asset and lease records
Prepare amortization schedules for notes payable
Develop, document and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on controls
Evaluate current processes and develop suggestions to improve efficiency
Other tasks as required
Qualifications and Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Experience with accounting systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
Requirements Accounting Software Systems, Accounts Payable (AP), Accrual Accounting, Auditing, ERP Solutions, Financial Statement, Fixed Assets, Bachelors / Honours Degree
