Intel Intel Mask Operations Metrology Automation Engineer in Santa Clara, California
The mask metrology group at Intel Mask Operations is looking for an automation individual with software engineering skill. It is desired for the candidate to also have background in other relevant areas of science/engineering to work on nanometer-scale computer vision and metrology applications.
Responsibilities include programming for an existing application that analyzes design data and generates recipes for various metrology tools, algorithm development and programming for image analysis, and software development for imaging tools, and other image-based measurements.
This a great opportunity to work directly with users to develop internal software tools and to have access to thousands of images for developing new algorithms and applications in image analysis that will get used in a production environment for mask and semiconductor manufacturing.
The successful candidate should be able to work in a team setting as well as an individual and independent contributor. This job requires helping to define requirements, implementing new features and ensuring software reliability by developing and fully testing before deployment. Clear documentation is also critical to enable ease of training and transferring information across the team.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Candidate must hold a PhD. in disciplines like Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or Electrical Engineering of expect the required degree by June 2022.
Minimum of 6 months of experience with C/C++ and Linux and Windows development environments.
Someone with a background in medical image analysis and in particular registration and segmentation applications would likely have the right skills for this position
Minimum of 6 months of experience in
Image processing or computer vision in both C++ and Python
Computational geometry, machine learning for image analysis, graphics, GUI design, scientific computing, and numerical optimization.
