Sutter Health Clinical Nurse Specialist - PICU/Pediatrics in San Francisco, California
The Outcomes Management CNS provides clinical expertise in a specialty. The essential functions of leadership, clinical practice, assessment, resource management, outcomes management, education, consultation and research require constant collaboration with the Medical and Nursing Staff and Medical Center Management in leading, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating all aspects of the patient care. Assumes a leadership role with the multidisciplinary team to define and achieve client outcomes/patient satisfaction as related to quality issues.
Master's in Nursing or related field, with a specialty in a specific population required.
Clinical Nurse Specialist - CNS required
Registered Nursine - State Licensure - RN required
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the specialty required
Prior experience in Clinical Nurse Specialist role preferred
Prior experience with Case Management preferred
Prior experience with Outcomes Management preferred
