TEKsystems Help Desk Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah
Our client is seeking entry level Technical Support Help Desk Technicians to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. These individuals will provide excellent customer service by supporting a wide range of technical and network solutions. Serving as the initial point of contact, you will gather and analyze information about the user's issue to answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration customization, and usage of assigned products to determine the best way to resolve their problem. Solutions include, but are not limited to, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, resolving username and password problems, verifying proper hardware and software set up, resolving network connectivity issues and troubleshooting email issues.
This is an entry level position and is a great way to get into the field of IT and gain valuable experience.
Top Skills Details:
Active Secret clearance, Security + CE, and HS Diploma (CAN PROCESS CLEARANCE FOR THE RIGHT INDIVIDUALS)
1 year of experience as a help desk specialist, providing remote troubleshooting and support for network and desktop hardware and software issues
Must demonstrate ability to communicate well with both internal and external individuals, high level of customer service is mandatory
Exposure to providing Tier 1 support, and escalating higher level issues to the appropriate team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
This candidate must hold an Active DOD Secret clearance.
-Past Air Force experience will be a plus.
-Communication, ability to work well with a team will be very important for this position

-Must be in Salt lake, or ready to relocate.
