Description

Your responsibilities as a Tax Preparer include:
Return incoming client calls to aid with tax questions and set appointments
Furnish the Tax software application with appropriate data
Undertake other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Follow up with clients to gather crucial information/documents
Tabulate and invoice for form preparation fees
Manually put together transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Requirements
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
Tax Preparation experience highly desired
QuickBooks experience
Foundational knowledge in Tax Preparation
Ultratax CS experience desired
Adeptness in Corporate Tax Return
ProSeries experience
