Samsung Electronics America Display Supply Chain Manager in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey
The Display Supply Chain Manager will work with the respective Sales Teams to ensure B2B Opportunities are converted into weekly Sell-Out and Sell-In Forecasts, which will then form the basis for CPFR with Customers and Sell-In (AP1) Forecasts, and Financial Forecast Planning with Product Marketing.
This position will provide analysis and work closely with internal Organizations in Sales, Marketing, Carrier Business Planning, and Supply Chain Teams to ensure consistent reporting of metrics, revenue estimates, and risks while acting as the primary Program Manager for defining SCM terminology and process with SEC HQ Teams as required.
The B2B Mobile Supply Chain Manager will work with existing Teams and Systems and manage the development of additional tools and reports to integrate partner and end-user demand into the B2B CPFR Process with Distribution. This position will also be responsible for Exception Reporting, Post Mortem Analysis, and acting as the liaison across teams for both SCM Day and BO Day to resolve any escalations involved with any of the Business Groups.
This position may supervise 1-2 Supply Chain Staff and lead Communications and coordinate efforts with other Staff across the Organization as required.
Role and Responsibilities
Sell-Out Forecasts and Sell-In Revenue Visibility
Analytically bridge the gap between B2B Sales Opportunities and Sell-In Forecasts for Revenue Recognition.
Validate Forecasts with B2B Sales teams and communicate exceptions or early warning to Carrier Business Planning Teams. Advise the B2B Teams of any Supply shortages or risks.
Define Processes and provide System Support for other B2B Mobile Sell-In Revenue Streams.
AP1 Forecast Validation with CPFR Teams
AP2 Forecasting with Product Marketing Teams
Communicate Sell-In Demand and review Channel Inventory with SCM CPFR Teams for Distributors
Ensure AP1 Forecasts are communicated to Sales, Marketing, and Carrier Business Planning Teams (all sell-in channels)
Target Plan validation with Marketing
Work with Marketing to validate holistic B2B Mobile Financial Forecasts (vs. Carrier Forecasts) for all sell-in Channels
Provide early warning and gap analysis for TP risks
Skills and Qualifications
Background in Supply Chain Forecasting, Program Management, or similar
Minimum 6+ years’ work experience in relevant field
Minimum 2-3 years Supervisor / People Management Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA a plus
Strong analytical abilities
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Office Suite
B2B and CRM experience extremely helpful
Project Management experience helpful
Excellent communications skills
Must be comfortable presenting to and driving consensus with Senior Management across multiple Departments and Divisions across the United States and HQ
Experience working in B2B products extremely helpful
Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural, Global business environment
Must be available to consistently work outside of regular business hours as required
Travel as required (<15%)
