Salary up to $29,000The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is currently seeking one (1) Forklift Operator. With instruction from Warehouse Supervisors this position is responsible for replenishing merchandise from the bulk storage/receivingareas to its proper locations in the picking aisles; ensures the proper stacking of merchandise according to height and rotational requirements, uses a RF-Bar Code scanner; or to perform Warehouse Worker tasks and duties in other areasof the Warehouse, as required.Minimal Qualifications:Skilled in the operation of electric forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner while performing daily duties and other assigned task.Knowledge of appropriate safety equipment and devices such as motorized pallet jack and motorized forklift.General knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory control procedures, Virginia ABC Authority and Wholesale/Retail Operations policies and procedures.Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing 50 pounds.Work in a fast paced automated warehouse environment.Work independently after daily production objectives have been established.For consideration for employment you must complete an online application at https://www.abc.virginia.gov/jobs/public/positionOpening\_list.do.Resumes may accompany but will not substitute for a completed State Application Form.
