Become an Information Governance and Provisioning Sr Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll will provide technical expertise and perform complex analysis for the T&D Governance and Provisioning organization. The Sr. Specialist is expected to facilitate special assignments and projects whose outcomes are time sensitive, resource intense, high value client focused, and technical. The Sr. Specialist will partner with stakeholders across SCE (typically at the senior management and executive levels) to facilitate T&D headcount management and complete onboarding requests. Act as their key contact to resolve both complex functional and broad business issues related to T&D governance, staffing, and provisioning capabilities. Work with various departments, processes, systems, and information to develop recommendations and support the implementation of improvements and maintain data integrity.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Support the development and maintenance of T&D governance and provisioning projects and operational plans.

  • Perform complex analysis and process documentation for projects related to information governance, process, compliance, access management, and/or contractor oversight.

  • Provide business and technical expertise to support maintenance of T&D’s people, process, compliance, and access management repository.

  • Facilitate bulk contractor onboarding and offboarding, including the access management (hardware, software, access, etc.) and compliance adherence in coordination with T&D, Supply Chain, Training, IT, and HR.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address information governance opportunities and resolve complex issues.


The essentials

  • Five years performing complex analysis, process improvements or governance, or database design and maintenance.

The preferred

  • Experience with Transmission & Distribution business functions.

  • Experience with SQL, Query and Database Design.

  • Experience with process automation and/or robotics.

  • Demonstrated experience with Erwin/Casewise/Evolve database management or other relational database design and maintenance.

  • Demonstrated experience with process design and complex analytics.

  • Advanced experience with software tools ie: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project and Visio.

  • Experience completing multiple projects/assignments concurrently while adjusting to changing priorities.

  • Experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, vendors, peers, management, and other departments.

  • Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
