UPMC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Enrollment Reporting Specialist for the Commercial Enrollment department. This is a full time position working 9:00am to 5:00pm and will occasionally work weekends and holidays. This will be a work from home position.

Under the general direction of the Enrollment Management, the Sr. Enrollment Reporting Specialist will be responsible for project facilitation, data management, and process documentation for Enrollment/COB Services. This position requires demonstrated efficacy in reporting and strong organizational and time management skills. The incumbent must develop and manage relationships with colleagues in a professional, independent manner. This position will contribute to organizational improvement by leading efforts to gather and analyze data, developing and distributing reports, and perform continual process improvement efforts. This position will be responsible for the analysis of membership and enrollment, including but not limited to reporting to support Enrollment/COB operations, key performance reporting, inventory management and reporting, and client reporting. The Sr. Enrollment Reporting Specialist will partner within and across Enrollment/COB, Operations, and the Health Plan to ensure business reporting and performance meets business and client needs. The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to all assignments. Must possess analytical problem-solving skills as well as the ability to coordinate the work of others and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and develop system enhancement requests to support business needs.

  • Actively drive resolution of those requests.

  • Support and organize audit needs as required. Other duties as signed.

  • Supports and adheres to UPMC Health Plan and the departments' policies and procedure, philosophy, and mission, applying Service Excellence attitudes and behaviors in the process of performing all job responsibilities.

  • Support leadership in determining and effectuating resource allocation to ensure inventory turnaround times are met consistently.

  • Support inventory management by ensuring reliable and accurate inventory input oversight, ensuring inventory is made available to team and leadership in a timely manner, through inventory management systems or otherwise.

  • Ensure accurate, timely inventory management reporting is available.

  • Design, update and generally maintain the departmental policies and forms in conjunction with enrollment department staff.

  • Coordinate various projects with appropriate internal and external staff.

  • Responsible for data compilation, project tracking and report creation, analyze patterns and trending of membership.

  • Communicate pertinent issues in a timely manner to enrollment management.

  • Facilitate prompt resolution of accounts with all concerned parties.

  • Create and maintain process flow charts documenting internal and external processes.

  • Use the Health Plan data warehouse to pull basic enrollment and membership information.

  • Be able to understand and communicate the information to others in a clear and professional manner.

  • Act as a liaison with other reporting, IT, and telecom teams to support business needs.

  • Create, maintain, and distribute inventory, key performance, client, or other ad hoc reporting, to support business operations.

  • Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of data, ensuring a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders.

  • Continually perform data analysis of membership to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct effective and thorough root cause analysis for issues or concerns.

  • Partner directly with leaders and/or peers within and outside of team to gather requirements and specifications to develop enhanced data and reporting tools.

  • Continually review the efficacy and usefulness of those reports and tools, adjusting as appropriate.

  • Gather and maintain a wide array of data related business processes and reporting, including inventory inputs, key performance metrics, client performance, and other ad hoc business measures.

  • Develop and maintain internal reporting and databases to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree preferred.

  • 2 Years of Enrollment, Customer Service, Managed Care, or Benefits Administration Experience Required.

  • The incumbent must have effective communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and time management skills.

  • Expertise in various software programs is required.

  • Office management experience including responsibility for policy and procedure oversight is preferred.
