Product Manager - PRODU09206 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Overview:The Product Manager role at SoftWriters is responsible for defining and delivering a compelling product roadmap that offers high-value healthcare technology solutions for an underserved niche market. The successful candidate is passionate about building innovative products that drive impact, with a laser focus on rapidly changing customer needs and market landscape. This person thrives in an agile product development environment, manages competing priorities simultaneously, embraces complex problem-solving and best-practices adoption with a growth mindset, and believes in cross-functional teamwork to deliver exceptional results and value. This person will be part of a high-performing and talented product management team, working closely with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and marketing. Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Market and Competitive Landscape: Qualitative and quantitative understanding of our market, competitors, and associated opportunities * Voice of Customer: Strong customer focus to deeply understand our customers and their needs * Business Case and Analytics: Build ROI and pricing models; leverage data analytics for hypothesis driven experimentation * Product Roadmap: Define and deliver a prioritized product roadmap with agile product development team * Messaging and Positioning: Partner with cross-functional teams to iterate on product messaging, positioning and associated content assets * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other technology related field * Five (5) or more years of software product management experience * Two (2) or more years of Agile-Scrum development experience, serving as a Product Owner or Scrum Master * Prior experience with both on-prem, hosted and cloud-native applications (Microsoft Windows/web/mobile with databases and cloud infrastructure) * Prior experience directly working with customers to successfully deliver product features for enterprise software solutions and SaaS products * Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to research, quickly understand, and synthesize complex, often technical problems and then articulate them into simple and clearly understood requirements * Proven track record of building relationships and influencing important clients and internal stakeholders, setting and managing expectations and creating consensus across diverse groups * Adept at capturing high-level business problems and understanding the strategic market position of new product value elements, competitive analysis, and applying knowledge of best practices and solutions from other industries * Self-motivated with capacity to work under pressure and deliver high caliber products under tight deadlines * Smart, relentlessly inquisitive, detail-oriented, and a quick learner * Flexibility to travel for onsite meetings with clients/partners, as needed Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or other technology related field * CSM/CSPO or Pragmatic Marketing Certification * Excellent understanding of software design patterns and architecture paradigms * Experience in managing/creating web and mobile app (Android and iOS) products * Good understanding of web service architecture, web technology stacks * Knowledge of pharmacy management or similar health care technology solutions SoftWriters, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
