Pay: $85k-$95k

Schedule: Fully In Office, Mon-Fri located in Phoenix, AZ (E Van Buren St & S 44th St)

Top Skills Details:

2 years of public accounting or public company experience


BA in accounting (CPA huge plus)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA or CPA candidate (getting CPA license)

2-5+ years of public accounting or public company experience/exposure

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and entire Office Suite

Sound understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions

Ability to problem-solve and analyze new information

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Thrives when working independently and is resourceful

Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks and projects concurrently

Positive, motivated contributor to the Company’s all-hands-on-deck atmosphere

Experience using SAP, Hyperion, and/or Blackline a plus

Job Description:

-monthly close process, including preparing and booking assigned journal entries timely and in accordance with internal and external reporting requirements (corporate accruals, payroll, debt)

-Prepare monthly and quarterly financial information utilized to determine and support key management estimates (AR allowance, credit memo reserve, etc.)

-Perform key SOX controls including over sales and leasing revenue

-Assist in quarterly reviews and the annual audit process

-Participate in the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in Blackline, ensuring accounts are reconciled timely, reconciling items are addressed timely, and reconciliations are updated as efficiencies and improvements are identified
