U-Haul Legal Staff Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona

U-Haul International’s Legal Department is seeking a highly motivated and organized staff assistant that will be responsible for assisting its Intake Operations Team with the handling of service-of-process documents and information it receives for litigation purposes. **This is an in-office position at our Mid Town Phoenix campus and is not eligible for remote work.

The support position job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry, maintenance, and processing of all new and existing cases.

  • Authoring of daily narrative summaries describing intake received each day.

  • Reviewing and updating information contained in the company’s invoice reporting tools for quality control consistency.

  • Soliciting and collecting of information needed for monthly and quarterly reporting.

  • Copying and scanning.

  • Assisting in miscellaneous projects as directed.

  • Other clerical/operational duties as needed.

The desired candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as part of a team and must be detailed oriented. Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!


  • High school diploma or equivalent; and higher.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications a plus.

  • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker invoicing and reporting application preferred.
