Job Summary

The Vice President of Human Resources is a key leadership position focused on delivering a broad range of consultative support to our consumer business teams. Xfinity is a significant organization and a top consumer brand in the U.S. It brings the scale, sophistication and complexity that comes with having 30 million customers, being a top 20 brand and one the largest U.S. advertisers. The ideal candidate will be an influential and business-focused human resources leader who can make a significant contribution across talent management, talent development, organization development, workforce effectiveness and organization/cultural transformation. This individual will be responsible for building exceptional relationships with leaders at all levels to advance the business and the talent agenda. The successful candidate will bring a significant track record in developing a high performing organization through talent, leadership and organization effectiveness. Moreover, the ideal candidate has strong business acumen and the organizational savvy to influence and implement numerous priorities across a large and complex matrix organization. Job Description

Key Areas of Focus

  • Lead, manage and consult in the development of an HR/Business strategy that supports business success in a competitive and disruptive environment.

  • Aligned with the company’s initiatives and commitments will create strategies and plans to impact diversity, equity and inclusion across the organization.

  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with leaders at all levels to be viewed as a credible resource in providing a broad range of HR consultation.

  • Provide leadership and project management to deliver on a variety of HR-related programs and initiatives.

  • Provide coaching and support to senior leaders in their own personal development as well as development of their teams. Partner with Human Resources CoE teams (Talent Acquisition, Comcast University, Compensation, Employee Relations, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management) in the development and delivery of a seamless and holistic HR strategy for the business.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Comcast HR leadership competencies including Business Acumen, Change Management, Consulting Skills and Operating /Execution Skills.

  • Successful track record of significant leadership in a large scale, matrixed-organization.

  • Experience leading change and organizational transformation.

  • Credible leader able to effectively interact with and influence executives, management and all employees.

  • Humble, practical leader who will embrace Comcast culture and bring strong advocacy for both strategic and executional opportunities.

  • Facilitative and collaborative leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills who effectively balances business and people dimensions.

  • Financial and business acumen with proven track record of delivering business results.

  • Strong planning and analytic skills including proficiency with data analysis and compensation.

  • Ability to execute against multiple projects and manage competing demands. Thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable operating at an executive level and “rolling up the sleeves” to do whatever it takes to support the business.
