Responsibilities include direct management and supervision of key Neuroscience initiatives including but not limited to the 9S Neuroscience biorepository and clinical outcomes program. Key responsibilities include: (i) Creation of an annual Neuroscience research budget, and supervision of research finances enabled by regular interaction with Research Business Managers, Study Investigators, and non-medical Research Personnel; (ii) Supervision, annual evaluations, recruitment and retention of research-related staff; (iii) Operations and process improvement; (iv) Guidance and input on training and compliance needs identified, responsible for developing and implementing training programs for clinical research assistants, coordinators, investigators and others; (v) Development of key metrics, policy and procedures, and (vi) Active participation in identification, preparation, and submission of Research grants related to the Neuroscience program. The Administrative Director will provide guidance to collaborative investigators both internal and external to the Institution.Job ResponsibilitiesOperations and Management of all research activities:Develop database of all clinical and translational studies; develop and maintain tools, monitoring reports, processes, programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to support Neuroscience research activities.Assure appropriate regulatory compliance, IRB approval and renewal, and appropriate training of all research personnel in support of the successful completion of all Research activities.Oversee the duties of research staff. Identify human resource needs for the successful completion of all Neuroscience Research. Identify areas that are underserved and make recommendations for re-allotment of resources.Provide creative input for methodology, study design and conduct, and for all areas needed to accomplish scientific objectivesAttend all Clinical Research seminars and relevant meetings.Oversight of Neuroscience Clinical TrialsDevelop and maintain tools, processes, programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to support the conduct of clinical research.Facilitate and support the success of individual investigators as they launch clinical trialsDevelop database of all clinical and translational studies including pharmaceutical company and investigator-led clinical trialsProvide creative input for methodology, study design, endpoints, and all areas needed to pursue trials in neuroscience.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative leadership and support for clinical research investigators and coordinators.Work to develop, organize, maintain, and manage the infrastructure and resources necessary for supporting a quality research program.Demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate a large team with vision, integrity and flexibilityProvide administrative leadership and oversight to neuroscience research staff; organize and support research teams.Provide leadership in the recruitment, training, assessment and retention of management of research staff.Review/screen potential applicants for clinical research support staff.Create and revise position descriptions and evaluations for all research personnel as needed.Organize, monitor and assist with review, editing, and submission process of manuscripts, articles, and other publications as needed as well as preparation process for presentations at scientific meetingsProvide high-level editorial support for publications as requestedCreate and monitor key publications online relevant to ongoing Neuroscience initiativesOversee preparation of investigator biosketches, curriculum vitae, and institutional descriptive documentsRevi
