We are looking for a Environment Services Representative NHUW (National Health Union Worker) at St Joseph Health!
Location: Petaluma Valley Hospital - Petaluma, CA
Schedule: *Per Diem
Shift: 8 hour, Day
*Per Diem positions fill in on an as-needed basis to cover vacations, sick time, high patient census, and leaves of absence. There is no guarantee of hours.
Provides housekeeping related functions to all areas of the hospital excluding the kitchen. Job duties are fairly well structured and performed under moderate supervision.
Provides Environmental Services duties including:
Room and Restroom Cleaning; Trash removal; Floor Care such as: Mopping and Buffing, Carpet
Shampooing, Stripping and Refinishing; Set up meeting rooms; Moving furniture (100%)
Utilizes Standard Precautions when exposure to blood and body fluid is likely. (100%)
Utilizes safe practices in the performance of job duties, and adheres to established safety practices. (100%)
Responds to emergency cleanup of spills.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Prefer High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Prefer previous housekeeping experience.
