Financial Analysis Manager-
Preferred Location- Virginia Beach or Remote
Oversees the creation of Beacon behavioral health reporting and performs financial analysis on actual results as compared to plan and forecasts. Includes preparation of reports for Beacon management, operational and functional leads, as well as DBG finance.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare budgets, forecasts, trend analyses and expense accruals.
Provides information for various monthly journal entries.
Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial reports
Assist in the creation of the MFR report
Research and analyze actual results as compared to plan, forecast and outlook
Assist with updating the monthly outlook
Assist with the annual budget preparation
Assist with developing and implementing expense targets and monitor against those targets
Ability to coordinate across all functional and shared service areas (Network Management, Clinical (UM), Finance, Actuarial, HR, IT and other)
Qualifications - External
Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; at least 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
