TEKsystems Fiber Design Analyst in Newark, Delaware
This position is for telecom analyst or design coordinator who is computer savvy, and familiar with networking mapping if possible. These folks will be trained in the process to complete their jobs/tasks. The individual will have experience with Google maps, network maps, a little design and construction knowledge would be great to have. The ability to learn is the biggest ask. The individual will be looking at Fiber designs/layouts and then will be using a widget with in Bently or Spatial to create final pricing. The widget will allow the individual to price out the runs of fiber on the diagram. They will be trained how to use the tool, price out everything from the fiber down to nuts and bolts. They will need to understand and will be trained that if the fiber comes to a train crossing, a bridge, that the fiber stops and a permit must be submitted. This individual will be working closely with the sales team and construction teams to create a full bill of materials or a BOM. These individuals need to come on board to bring the SLA requirements from a 7-10 days turn around to a below 5 day turn around.
