The Capital Markets Risk Technology team covers all cross-asset risk capabilities for the CIB and their Risk partners. This position is for a strong java spring developer to assist with various projects across the Capital Markets XVA technology team. The group has a road map and several key new projects scheduled to occur over the next several years, in addition to enhancing and maintaining the current platforms in areas including counter party credit risk management, regulatory capital optimization, Risk (SA-CCR), and SA-CVA.

Required Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • 5+ years of capital markets experience

  • 10+ years of Java experience

  • 5+ years of Spring experience

  • 5+ years of pricing or risk systems development experience

  • 5+ years of software engineering and implementation experience

  • 7+ years of experience with credit risk technology systems

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: securities, quants, artificial intelligence, or machine learning

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of interest rate pricing models, exotic equity and foreign exchange (FX) pricing models, jump models, stock

  • Knowledge and understanding of system/application architecture and design concepts

  • Knowledge and understanding of systems and applications development, especially with a variety of software development methodologies

  • 3+ years of Agile experience

  • A Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance

  • Basic knowledge of industry regulations related to building technological solutions

  • A professional certification in technology

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives products, pricing, modelling and risk sensitivities.

  • Able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business partners.

  • Escalates and owns full transparency around project status, issues, risks and drives them to resolution on a timely basis.

  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring junior team members.
