Blink Fitness Learning & Development Specialist in New York, New York

This role has three main areas of responsibility; (1) program development & execution, (2) LMS management (3) cross-functional partnership to support product, process & field tools.
The learning & development specialist reports to the Director of Operations & Learning and collaborates regularly with the operations, marketing & product teams.
Manage the day to day activities of the field learning & development program.
Receive & prioritize L&D requests from across the organization.
Develop curriculum & courses to be administered through the LMS (Wisetail).
Facilitate live and virtual workshops across all levels of the organization.
Work with field training specialists to ensure the consistent execution of programs across regions.
Ensure all training programs are up to date and regularly reviewed.
Lead the development of engagement programming themed around our 6 leadership behaviors.
Work with subject matter experts to develop interactive learning content for the LMS.
Own the execution of the Blink Leadership Development program.
Consult on home office learning programs in partnership with the HR team.
Report on compliance initiatives and completion statistics.
Supervise a Learning Content Coordinator that develops learning and engagement media.
Work closely with cross-functional partners within Operations, Marketing, Member Services, Product and others to support and reinforce training related to products, processes, and gym tools.
Occasional travel to gyms.
2-4 years in a learning & development implementation role.
Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business environment is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing an LMS and use of project management software (airtable, jira, etc.) preferred.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator
Passion for fitness and the Blink brand
Must be willing to travel regionally 25% of the time and possibly nationally, if necessary.
