Twitter Group Product Manager- Twitter Music in New York, New York

In order to serve the public conversation better, we seek to build ways for customers to have conversations the way they want to. It turns out talking about music is one of the most fundamental conversations that happens on Twitter. Music is the oxygen for a lot of creator expression and consumer passion. In this role you will lead a x-functional team that is working to make music even more central to how Twitter works. You will work with business development on music deals and integrations. You will work with platform teams on establishing a backend that works for our customers and supports music rights holders' needs. You will innovate on ways to integrate music into our user experiences for artists, creators and fans. Most importantly, you will bring these things to market in a way that delights the people who use Twitter. Many aspects of this will be new 0 to 1 efforts. This role will call upon your management and execution chops. It also requires a lot of your innovative product sense. Your team will be brilliant and motivated but will need your encouragement and direction. We're looking for ambitious and motivated product leaders who have a track record of shipping innovative products and have strong leadership skills. * 7+ years of product management experience. * Track record mentoring and managing high performance product managers/product management teams. * A track record of shipping successful consumer-facing products. * A proven understanding of engineering concepts and a technical depth that lets you connect with and earn the respect of our extraordinary engineering team. * Established history of collaboration with user research, design, data science and engineering to come up with multi-quarter roadmaps. * Help foster a phenomenal product culture within our growing, distributed product management team. * Experience in building music, A/V or related products. * An extraordinary passion and experience for/with music, artists and the music economy is a plus.
