Job Description

Senior Advisor, Finance Planning and Analysis will lead Finance support for NY Plan while supervising financial activities of a financial analyst. The team is responsible state regulatory reporting, financial planning and analysis, audit support and supporting the business with planning financial strategies. The incumbent will be expected to evaluate existing processes and create improvements in controlling procedures.The incumbent will have oversight of financial activities for NY MLTC plan and will support the local and corporate leader in executing short and long term strategic plans. PProvide input into the plan's operating plans and business strategies. Analyze and provide explanations for variances.Work with the CFO & C-Suite leaders to establish the strategic direction for the plan.Establish clear objectives for the plan and track progress using key performance measures.Support and coordination and development of business unit financial plans and forecast.The individual will work with the CFO and C-Suite on communications to the state and will be responsible for completing the state regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Required Qualifications

7 or more years of financial planning and analysis experience 7 or more years Experience with Excel, Hyperion, and/or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in FinanceExperience with state regulatory reportingExperience with filing NY State MMCOR reportsMedical Economics ExperienceExperience with NY MLTC programSQL programingKnowledge of Healthcare Finance7 or more years of experience with financial reporting

Education

Bachelor's Degree required.
