We are hiring! The Landauer Medical Physics is hiring a Diagnostic Imaging Physicist to join our Bridge Team! This is an incredibly important position that supports our National Team in a region of the greatest need. It’s a high travel and highly compensated position. Assignments will include overnights (capped at 75%) to anywhere in the Country. The successful candidate will be highly qualified, independent, adaptable, and must live in the contiguous United States near a major airport. Excellent soft skills, communication, rapport building, and emotional intelligence are essential.Responsibilities:
Perform medical physics surveys of all types of radiographic, fluoroscopic, ultrasound, CT, MR, mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and PET/SPECT/SPECT-CT imaging systems
Support of ACR Accreditation surveys
Meets the continuing education requirements for mammography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET and nuclear medicine
Complete all reports on time and accurately, which consists of analyzing data, listing observations and recommending follow-up actions
Support Radioactive Materials Licenses and all aspects of Radiation Safety
Board Certified Physicist preferred
Demonstrated expertise and experience in the following areas of Imaging Physics practice: Mammography, MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine (including gamma cameras and licensing), PET, Radiological/Fluoroscopy Surveys, Ultrasound, and Radiation Safety
Ability to learn quickly and to be adaptable, especially in unfamiliar circumstances
Ability to innovate for efficiency and speed
Accomplished subject matter authority with ability to help clients navigate the changing regulatory landscape
Extensive experience with computer systems and the use of a laptop to perform daily duties, including cloud-based tools for workflow and file storage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
