Citigroup Strategy Group Manager, SVP in Miami, Florida
The Latam Strategy Group Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the leadership team in Latam and addresses high impact strategic issues across its portfolio of businesses. Works in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership. Is a seasoned professional who can manage multiple projects and teams.
Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to Business Units
Develop recommendations to advise Citi's senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategies, product and segment strategies, cross business initiatives, investments, and capital and expense optimizations
Conduct organic growth initiative development and prioritization, and portfolio assessment
Guide and execute analysis of our markets, competitors, and customers using internal and external resource
Develop and strengthen relationships with executives across the business
Coordinate communications with Citi's executive leadership and Board as well as external stakeholders (e.g. investor community, regulators)
Support performance measurement (e.g. scorecards, etc.)
Contribute to continuous team improvement and management (e.g., provide leadership in recruiting, coaching junior staff, etc.)
10+ years relevant experience in strategy consulting or closely-related fields
Previous project and people/teams management experience: project planning & execution, client and team member management
Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams
Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and trust of senior leaders
Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies
Demonstrates sound business judgment and results orientation
Possess sound problem structuring and analytic capabilities
Creative thinker; thinks outside the box and challenges conventional wisdom
Business builder capable of creating vision and motivating a geographically dispersed team
Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses
Outstanding analytical and qualitative skills
Clear and concise communicator
Multi-tasks productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities
In-depth understanding of the business and financial drivers
Good understanding of the different banking products
History of academic and professional excellence and achievement
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent
