As a member of the Analytic Tools & Platforms (ATP) Latin America team, part of the Pfizer Digital organization, this position has responsibility to assist in creating an environment that is client-driven where teamwork and working in a global matrix team structure is paramount. In this position, you will be accountable for having a thorough and complete understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics needs for Pfizer Business Units; and you will deliver BI and Data Management (DM) projects in the Latam Region.
You will be expected to have a solid understanding of the use of data in support of commercial activities in the Latam Region (25 countries); the data subject areas include and not limited to syndicated sales data, direct sales data, field force operation data, etc. You will partner with both internal and external teams to use data generated from multi-channel capabilities and the surrounding business processes in support of insight development of the commercial effectiveness, planning, and execution of digital-enabled programs.
You will be expected to lead and manage the project delivery function from project ideation to productionization including budget management. More importantly, you will need to be comfortable managing external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
You will build and foster relationships so as to be able to work independently and closely with your Digital colleagues as well as key senior level business clients .You will prepare, lead, and facilitate BI/DM design thinking workshops, assemble, synthesize and document key learnings', be innovative in your solution concept design and be able to develop and communicate a BI/DM Strategy/Roadmap, which will set the direction for the core solution offerings of the Commercial Solution Delivery and Engineering team within the Pfizer Digital organization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery and be responsible for the delivery of assigned Business Intelligence (BI), data warehousing, reporting, big data, and advanced analytics projects in the LATAM region.
Responsible for managing project priorities and the communication of project delivery dates, plans, budgets and project financial tracking to key stakeholders.
Work with the business, Digital stakeholders and partners/vendors to capture key requirements, translate them into projects in alignment using Pfizer's approved standards & architecture and seek approval for projects following the standard governance processes. Where appropriate, conduct prototyping, design thinking and innovation sessions.
Work collaboratively with the Global ATP Service Operations, ATP Solution Engineering, and other Digital teams to deliver viable Business Intelligence technical solutions through building relationships.
Serve as the first escalation and resolution point during the delivery of assigned projects.
Maintain solid customer engagement with key stakeholders, including business, enabling functions, and Digital colleagues.
Partner with other enabling functions to advance BI and Analytics capabilities in the LATAM region.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum undergraduate degree in either a technology or a relevant discipline.
10-15 years of relevant work experience with thorough understanding of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing, Big Data and Advanced Analytic concepts.
Effective communication skills, both oral & written with both technical and non-technical clients.
Demonstrated collaborative, consultative, problem solving, prioritization and analytical skills.
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
Experience successfully leading a global team of contractors.
Proven solution delivery/project management BI and Analytics experience.
Experience in developing and socialising business cases with both technical and non-technical audiences.
