Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Renovation Specialist. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you! As a Renovation Specialist, you will support renovation and construction projects and partner with property improvement sales, customers, and renovations operations to provide project specifications required for property improvement or construction projects.
This role offers hybrid remote flexibility but will require frequent travel in Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas & Louisiana, and occasional overnight travel to support national projects, as needed. The ideal incumbent will live within commuting distance to Nashville, Memphis or Little Rock, but will have the flexibility to work from home when not in the field.
Performing on site take-offs for potential renovation projects, and on-going renovation projects.
Responsible for walking apartment units with the property manager, regional property manager, maintenance staff, and contractors.
Manage and develop customer relationships on a local, regional, and national level, or combination thereof.
Responsible for counting products needed on site, measuring for blinds/appliances/lights/plumbing fixtures, etc.
Leads orders throughout their lifecycle to ensure that any changes to a job are communicated and accounted for.
Work with Ferguson's Renovations Business Development Manager and national account manager to help close sales and maintain on-going jobs.
Responsible for job and order follow up including tracking of all pertinent information acquired after the intent to award is disclosed.
Alignment with inventory efficiency goals and maintenance of job performance against job expectations.
Frequent local travel required, occasional overnight travel required
1+ year experience with maintenance, facilities management, facilities supply or project coordination, required
Experience with hospitality and/or multifamily customer / apartment complex maintenance or facilities management, preferred
Project coordination of hospitality or multifamily construction, a huge plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong computer and MS Office skills, with emphasis on Excel
The ability to delegate work
Self-motivation and process-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Extremely detailed and comfortable performing within established processes
