Job Descriptions:

Great people! Great pay! Great benefits! Great hours!

If you are an experienced automotive or diesel technician and you're looking for a stable, growing company with a solid benefits package, great working conditions and a steady, consistent amount of available work, let's talk!

United is a leader in the repossession and remarketing industry. Our success has been built on providing exceptional service to our clients, many of whom are some of the largest lenders in the United States. By utilizing the latest technology and investing in the development of our people, United has experienced continued growth since our inception in 1973. We currently operate out of over 40 branches across the nation and are looking to expand our footprint into more locations soon.

One of the key ingredients to our sustained success and growth is our passionate, dedicated and talented Uniteders - that is what we call ourselves. We are more than associates, employees, co-workers - whatever word you want to use to describe a group of people that just work together. Uniteders are family. Uniteders are a group of people that unite together to create a working environment that encourages enthusiasm, comradery, creativity, individuality and grit. In return, we have shaped a culture that is not only different, but one of a kind. We are quirky and weird and different and unique. We are all those things. But collectively, we are UNITEDERS.

Due to our growth, we are now seeking an experienced automotive service technician to work in our facility in the airport area, Memphis Auto Auction!

Become a member of the fastest growing industry in the U.S. Our fast-paced service shop offers unique opportunities to work on a highly diverse array of products, ranging from domestic to foreign manufacturers, including gas, diesel, and flex-fuel power sources. The environment also offers additional opportunities to work on power sport, RV, and marine units.

You will inspect and diagnose drivability issues and any mechanical defects on a wide variety of makes and models, including electrical, drivability, computer, brake system, suspension, heating and A/C, and exhaust issues. You will also perform a wide range of predominantly light repair work including battery replacement to replacement of minor and major components and diagnose and repair electrical, drivability (computer systems), brake systems, tires and suspension, A/C, exhaust, fuel and ignition parts. In addition, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance on our company fleet vehicles.

We have a very relaxed, informal work atmosphere, and a family-friendly, Monday-Friday daytime work schedule. The pay for this position is flag hour and negotiable. Our full-time employees may participate in major medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans, and a 401(k) Savings Plan with company match. We also offer a competitive compensation package, paid time off and promotional opportunities. By the way, we like to have a little fun at work, too!

*The pay for this position is based on experience!

Required Experience:

*Your background should include a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the automotive and/or diesel repair industry.

*ASE certifications a plus, as is diesel diagnostic and repair experience.

If you are a positive team player who is a motivated self-starter and prides themselves on delivering great customer service, we want to talk with you! We're growing - come grow with us!
