TEKsystems Desktop Technician - Tech Bar in Manchester, New Hampshire


Our client is looking for a contract Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to work as part of a 10+ person team supporting both Divisional and Regional employees that sit in the Northeast Division (NED) Headquarter office. They will be supporting all PC-related issues and setup, along with supporting some telecom-related issues for their Avaya phone system and mobile devices (iPhones & iPads). All issues are logged with the Helpdesk, and tickets are created through Remedy ticketing system. This individual will be required to pull down tickets, and resolve issues by providing face-to-face customer service. They will be working to support a variety of customers that are both technical and non-technical, so it is critical that this individual knows how to adapt to the customer they are working with. They will be supporting all Microsoft-related issues (Outlook, Word, and Excel), along with Exchange. The environment is a VDI/VMWare, along with shared desktops. They must have experience with Active Directory to create and administer user accounts, along with imaging machines whether through MDT, SCCM or Ghost.

This individual must be a go-getter. This person must be willing to walk around the building multiple times per day (in an efficient manner) to resolve issues as needed, and must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things. This person must be able to arrive to work on time and work on assignments as needed. There is a lot of autonomy in this role - Steve needs someone who is going to go out of his/her way to find the answer to something if they do not know the answer already.
