Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a senior staff level Program Planner to join our mission. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Special Programs organization. Special Programs has an excellent track record of stable programs with highly evolving technical requirements that drives subcontract changes on a regular basis. We have developed a significant number of future leaders with a wide variety of engagement programs and challenging work to develop individual potential.

Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….

• Interface with Engineering, Finance/Business Operations, Supply Chain, Production, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to ensure a complete and accurate performance measurement baseline is captured and executed

• Assist in the development/maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) which accurately validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program and ensure vertical integration with lower level Supplemental Schedules up to the IMS

• Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.

• Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules and facilitate workaround planning as required.

• Maintain, publish, and present relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management.

Basic Qualifications:

• 13-15 years or more of relevant professional experience

• Experience developing & maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

• Experience using MS Project

• Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

• Experience with schedule metrics generation & reporting

• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word

• Must be a United States citizen and have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree highly preferred

• Understanding of Critical Path Methodology, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) and a sound working knowledge of the Corporate PPMP, and other governing documents related to earned value and program planning

• Ability to manage monthly business rhythm and ensure IMS CDRL development, includes critical path generation, schedule impact analysis. Effectively communicate schedule impacts to the program management team and ensure on time delivery of the IMS

• Understanding of the EV Guidelines, corporate policies including PPMP-01 and an understanding of the DCMA Data Driven metrics and DCMA surveillance process

• Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management

• Experience interacting across a variety of areas; such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production and quality control Microsoft Project familiarity

• Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment tools, such as Acumen

• Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
