We are looking for a passionate associate buyer to join our merchandising team to help build the best assortment of products that meet the needs of our RV and Outdoor lifestyle customers. The Associate buyer works with cross-functional business partners to maximize business performance and profitability by executing assortment plans that maximize sales, margins, and inventory turnover. This is a key role in the merchandising team reporting to the DMM.
Develop compelling Product Assortments to deliver on sales targets
Responsible for assortment plans by category and classification
Negotiating with vendors and building positive, long-term relationships.
Researching new suppliers and Trends
Preparing competitive marketing and pricing strategies.
Planning, monitoring, and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
Preparing budgets and forecasting sales trends.
Degree in business, economics, marketing, or related field preferred
minimum of two years experience in merchandising or Inventory planning
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Highly organized with an ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and initiatives.
Experience with merchandising software systems is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Travel- up to 25 % Required
