Allied Universal® is hiring a Director, Special Operations (CAF). The Director, Special Operations is responsible for conducting recruiting, training, and coordinating the Composite Adversary Force (CAF) Team regarding EFoF drill activities. These individuals also are responsible for conducting monthly and yearly performance evaluations and continual behavioral observations of CAF Team personnel. This position instructs tactical weapons handling and training for CAF members, supervises the team, is responsible for the corrective actions concerning the tactical and planning program and provides program administration including lesson plan development, selection and recruitment and record keeping. The CAF Director employs a systematic approach to training using the elements of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This position provides expertise in Close Quarter Battle technique, Mission Planning, Team Movement Techniques, Explosives Effects, Advanced Tactics in both Urban and Rural Terrain, and Terrorism Tactics and Techniques in Accordance with Regulatory and Industry Guidelines and Requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and conduct tactical training for all CAF Team leaders and members
Independently able to run all training aspects of an Evaluated Force on Force from an adversary perspective for entire CAF in line with both internal and external standard operating procedures and guidelines
Ensure that training lesson plans and materials support regulatory requirements and task needs to support excellent tactical performance
Supervise, observe, and evaluate the learning of students in the Adversary Training Course tactical program
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to all CAF Team members
Maintain training records and documentation to meet regulations and ensure currency of information
Maintain knowledge of regulatory and policy requirements in both security and training
Provide remedial training as required by policy
Ensure a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) is present and positively reinforced
Assist Team Leaders in developing mission narrative profiles as needed during EFoF Pre-Visits
Implement tactical program corrective actions, that may include changes to requirements, improvements/modifications, or program enhancements, as directed
Maintain current knowledge and skills related to tactics, strategy, ordinance, weapons, counterterrorism, and tactics
Able to obtain and maintain proficiency in the mission planning, development, execution, and reporting processes required of a CAF Director (Narratives, Slide Presentations, Weight Charts, After Action Reviews, Corrective Reports and Accident Reports)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Education/Training, or relevant program
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements
Must be a current or former Director or Team Member of the National CAF Team or JCAF Team
Must possess one (1) or more years of experience in each of the following:
Close Quarter Battle (CQB) instruction
Tactical Firearm instruction
Advanced rural and urban combat skills
Demolitions and Explosive calculations and use – Instructor level
Anti-Terrorism instruction
Experience in Vulnerability Assessments and Risk Analysis
Target Analysis instruction
Management/Leadership in in a controlled or real-world environment
Planning/executing operational missions in real world environment
Public speaking skills; able to present to Executive Level to include the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, licensee, and AUS
Effective oral and written communication skills; write informatively, clearly, and accurately
Planning and organizing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or Education/Training, or Organizational Leadership
Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear regulations
Comprehensive knowledge of NEI 05-05, NEI 03-11, NRC Addendum 5
Comprehensive knowledge of Physical, Electronic, and Procedural Security Strategies
High degree of proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Familiarization of 10 CFR 73
Experience developing curriculum in accordance with SAT format
Experience in training administration
Prior law enforcement, armed nuclear security officer or military training experience
Prior experience with the development and completion of corrective actions
