Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Project Senior Technical Lead for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.
Duties: Design, develop documents and analyze overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software requirements. Research and recommend technology improvements to the current systems. Design, develop, and implement comprehensive Know Your Client (KYC) technology solutions for Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Sanctions regulatory compliance. Provide essential input regarding technical solutions that enable senior management to make key strategic decisions. Solve critical business problems and coordinate design and integration of total system including subsystems. Work with Business, Compliance and Functional teams to understand the business requirements and perform impact analysis of the change requests on the existing system from a technology perspective. Lead design and implementation of regulatory, business, and technical enhancements to key components for the CitiKYC application. Responsible for ensuring technical solutions and project goals are achieved within allocated budgets, while providing overall direction and guidance to Technology teams. Understand the architectural principles and their implications to system design, security, system extensibility and interoperability, costs, and operational considerations. Develop rich user interfacing applications for KYC by applying concepts of Core Java/ Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Sencha GXT (Java framework for user interface development built on top of Google web toolkit) and other open source Web Technologies. Responsible for integration of business and client tiers by applying knowledge of Core Java, J2EE technologies, Spring framework, Hibernate/JPA, Rules. Apply knowledge of Java and Google Web Toolkit to improve performance of the existing system and enhance the UI experience. Develop estimates for technical implementation of change requests and work with other stakeholders in managing the project plan. Review the design, and code changes post implementation, Track project deliverables, monitor and report progress to senior management, and ensure clients are provided with adequate technical support.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and 5 years of experience as an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst, Applications Development Tech Specialist, Senior Project Technical Lead, Senior Development Manager, Senior Consultant, or related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in the stated fields, and 7 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 5 years of experience must include: Java and J2EE with Websphere and Tomcat; Google Web Toolkit; Sencha GXT; Spring Framework, REST Services; Hibernate and Java Persistence API; DROOLS (Business Rules Management System); and Relational Database Management (RDBMS) - Oracle.
