Citigroup Senior Java Developer VP in Irving, Texas
The position is required to address the substantial increase in regulatory deliverables that are coming up as part of the CCR and WCR efforts for Credit Risk and BASEL processing
The Credit Risk Services Technology team is responsible for delivering Credit Risk, BASEL, DSFT Analytics and Monitoring software to Citi’s Credit Risk Organization which manages Citi’s exposure to financial institutions, governments and corporates that trade with Citi.
The team builds and maintains software used to calculate key attributes in Credit Risk Monitoring such as Pre-Settlement Exposure, Exposure At Default, Risk Weighted Assets,
Haircut for Security and Cash Collateral, Concentration of Collateral and Eligibility/Liquidity of Collateral.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead the team of Software Engineers/Analyst Developers in Irving,TX and be responsible for the delivery of the team
Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team for delivering projects
Collaborate effectively with a large global team of software engineers, business analysts, dev-ops and support staff to deliver software solutions for the business
Advance the software infrastructure by continuously adopting new technologies where appropriate to solve business problems Development Value: The role will provide opportunities to lead the build out of best in class technology solutions to solve complex business problems in a large global capital markets organization.Citi’s scale and diversity provide a rich learning environment for technical, business and leadership skills. Qualifications:
8+ Years of experience with hands-on Core Java development
6+ Years of experience in Capital Markets firm (Investment Bank / Investment Management) with good understanding of Credit Risk Management and associated metrics
Should have background in Risk Technology and familiar with key risk metrics such as PSE, EAD, RWA, VaR, Haircut, Concentration.
6+ Years of experience leading a team of Software Engineers/Analyst Developers
Working knowledge of Agile Software Development processes
Proven ability to build tools to solve complex business problems
Experience in implementing industry best practices
Experience with Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Distributed Caching – GEMFIRE, MongoDB, SQL
Knowledge of the model documentation, development and release process.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients, project managers and IT stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a large global team
