Honeywell HR Director, Finance in Houston, Texas

The successful candidate (you) will develop and own HR strategies for the PMT Finance Function. You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, & talent management. You will build upon and rely on your HR functional expertise and effectiveness to align critical human resources principles with business objectives. You will align organizational transformations, staffing and talent strategies to promote talent and growth.
Drive and improve HR processes across the finance function
Deliver functional excellence for key HR processes and initiatives, leveraging and partnering with COEs.
Transformation agenda – reshape the business and deliver flawless execution and say/do
Drive standardization and repeatable process discipline
Act as a coach, confidant, and thought partner for all finance leaders
Drive workforce planning efforts to ensure the finance team is properly resourced to enable the functions strategic and operational goals
Develop and drive stakeholder change management plans to support incremental and transformational organizational change
Provide organization development and effectiveness strategies and solutions which respond to a dynamic and evolving business organization.
Leverage talent best practices and implement with a continuous improvement mindset in support of a dynamic, evolving business organization.
Oversee the finance talent agenda, ensuring that individuals, teams and the organization have the career and capability development required for current and future success.
Represent the function in the development and implementation of enterprise policies and practices that improve the company’s ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Employment Relations or Organizational Development or related discipline.
7+ years' progressive professional Human Resources experience
5+ years’ experience in Human Resources leadership/management roles within a global organization
Master's degree in related discipline
10+ years progressive professional Human Resources experience
Demonstrated ability to drive change and build a performance culture.
Demonstrated ability to positively influence others, particularly leadership development and coaching.
Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
Ability to analyzed performance and reliability trends of product portfolios to drive improvements in project execution and on-time delivery
Created competency assessment for organization to validate delivered skills gap analysis and remediation plan
Strategic skills to develop and continuously identify and drive base cost improvements
Strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
Aptitude to analyze of historical payroll trends to assist in establishing new compensation models
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
