Intel's Sales and Marketing (SMG) organization works with global customers and partners to solve critical business problems with Intel based technology solutions. SMG works across business units to amplify the customers' voice and deliver solutions that accelerate their business. Our teams work across the entire sales cycle, pushing ingredient products to our "billings" customers while also pulling end solutions through to "consumption". We work across numerous industries, including retail, enterprise and government, cloud services and healthcare as examples. The operations team focuses on forecasting, driving alignment with factory production and delivering efficiency tools and our marketing capability drives, demand and localized marketing in locations around the globe. Our sales force navigates a complex partner and customer ecosystem while shaping product road-maps, driving value for our customers, and collaborating to harness emerging technology trends to deliver comprehensive solutions.

SMG's Global Marketing Organization is looking for interns to join our team. As an intern, you will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment with experienced marketing professionals to develop and activate marketing programs designed to increase sales, brand relevance, and corporate perception. You will collaborate with our broad and diverse marketing and communications teams, in addition to other sales and marketing groups within Intel, to connect the Intel brand to consumer, business, and internal audiences.

Marketing interns will own specific portions of a larger overall marketing strategy that may include, but not limited to: event management, activating campaigns, project management, digital marketing, communications, operations, research, training for sales and marketing, collateral development, and customer evaluations and tracking. In addition to learning and working with some of the best marketing and communications professionals in the industry. Intel offers Marketing interns, opportunities to network and engage with our broader teams to explore other facets of marketing at Intel. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, digital/social strategy, advertising or related.

  • Attending a four-year accredited college or university and maintaining a GPA of 3.0+ Minimum 6 months Coursework/experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, campaign strategy and tactics

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ months of Marketing knowledge or work experience or other internships in the following areas:

  • Marketing clubs, social media, etc.

  • Maintaining and creating foundational PR materials, including media lists, editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, media coverage tracker, pitches and briefing books.

  • Experience assisting with event preparation and speakerships.

  • Conducting research for the Business and Intelligence team for proactive news, pitching, competitive analysis, industry news and events.

  • Assist in pitching media and influencers.

  • Strong interest or experience in communications, marketing technologies and operations.
