Microsoft Corporation Embedded Software Engineer Pen and Touch Surface team in Herzliya, Israel

Surface Israel is developing new technologies for Surface product line, focusing on next generation pen and touch technology and display solutions.

The R&D is developing a multi-disciplinary solution that includes HW (circuits and ASICs), SW, signal and image processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

The embedded SW team is looking for an outstanding, talented SW engineer (2-5 years) to join the proud team that develops products such as the Surface Book and the Surface Studio , to work on real-time embedded software, on all levels of code, from registers level through communication to complex algorithms.

Qualifications

Desired Skills

  • B.Sc./ B.A mathematics/physics or computer sciences or computers engineering or software engineering from an established university

  • Excellent C/C++ with at least 5 years of proven and ongoing experience

  • Embedded software expert with at least 5 years of proven experience. Must master at least one RTOS.

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of computers sciences.

  • Deep acquaintance with software development processes and tools

  • Some travel may be necessary

Advantages

  • Proven experience in developing algorithms

  • EE or HW background
