These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with world-class operations and sustainment capabilities of space- based programs in support of national security.

The Iron Patriot team is looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices. As a member of a hard-working team that are passionate about their trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. Be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun with your work.

A TS/SCI (or equivalent) Clearance will be required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Full-stack development

• Cloud-based technologies

• DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline experience

• Software development experience with Java or C#

• Agile software development/architecture experience

• TS/SCI, DOD Top Secret, or equivalent level clearance

Desired Skills:

• Java\\JEE, C# .NET, JavaScript, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Python, GitLab

• Web Development Experience

• User Interface (UI) Design

• User Experience (UX) Design

• Continuous Integration\\Automated Testing\\DevOps

• Experience working in Agile teams using SAFe, Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts

• Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• Experience designing microservice-based architectures

• Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment

• Experience with Open Architecture standards (e.g., OMS, UCI, etc.)

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Strong background developing /debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services
