Lockheed Martin Supply Chain Operations - Workforce Development Training Coordinator in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: The MFC GSC Workforce Development Training Coordinator is responsible for the schedule management and coordination of required Supply Chain Academy courses including communication with participants and instructors. The coordinator serves as the main point of contact with the centralized MFC Talent and Organization Capabilities Team and is responsible for coordinating logistics for classes both virtually and in Training Centers, and assessments created and managed within the SuccessFactors Learning Management System on behalf of GSC Workforce (includes student registration and credit for completions). The coordinator will also process new GSC Employee Service Central requests, support course monitoring duties and contribute to overall Operations and Strategies of the Workforce Team and Supply Chain Academy. This role may occasionally contribute to GSC course material and instruction.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance

Strong administrative capabilities

Demonstrated ability to manage several simultaneous projects successfully

Demonstrated ability to train personnel

Proficient computer skills including Mirosoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Team-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations and ability to present effectively to all levels of management

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions

Self-motivated, ownership of tasks and accountable

Able to work both independently and in a team environment

Able to work with all levels of management

Ability and Willingness to travel

Subcontracting experience associated with commodities, assemblies, and equipment within Defense or Aerospace industries

Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and requirements for FAR / DFAR based contracts and internal acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Desired Skills:

Operations and Finance as they relate to managing suppliers

Successfully work collaboratively across the team and organization for project completions and Academy Support

Experienced in Training Curriculum Development

Experienced at Training personnel using various training mediums to deliver that training
