Lockheed Martin Quality Engineer Senior in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This position reports to a Quality & Mission Success leader

and is responsible for work product quality and continual

assessment of manufacturing product and process yield in

the F-35 program. Position will utilize statistical methods

and preventative action methods to evaluate and initiate

actions to identify and control sources of variation relative

to quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Position will conduct and coordinate process and product

evaluations an assessments. Scope of responsibility will

extend into root cause analysis and corrective actions to

reduce variation and impacts to the program.

Position will be required to work cross functionally within

the Q&MS organization as well as with other organizations

in order to ensure compliance. Responsible and accountable for improving overall quality performance for the program by reducing defects and Scrap, Rework, and Repair costs.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in

US as a permanent resident. This position is located

at a facility that requires special access.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.

• Knowledge in the following systems: QADS, SFM, ICA, SAP Business objects, Tableau, DOMMS, ALIS, VAS, PDM,CAPP, JEDI, CATIA

• Understanding of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics CART and CAB processes

• Understanding of QAR/Work-Order Triage Processes

Desired Skills:

• Ability to perform Trend analysis to achieve SRR/defect Reduction

• Flight line experience

• Ability to lead a Purge/Containment process through all of delivery operations

• Ability to coach/mentor junior quality engineers
