Description: As the F-35 Lot 15-17 Production Execution Deputy PM, the selected individual has the responsibility to perform the transition from proposal to execution for F-35 Production Lots 15-17. Responsible for laying in the cost, schedule, and technical management baseline plans and managing the functions to that plan. Individual will perform process improvements related to baseline management, the material release process, and establishing, monitoring, & managing requirements to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include:
• Overall execution of contract requirements
• Cost / schedule / performance management
• Leading interactions with the internal functional teams from production operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, contracting, business management, and legal
• Program office and warfighter interactions
• Participation in development of business cases and business plans
• Proposal development
Bachelor’s degree or higher education
Experience with program/project management or program integration processes
Experience executing production contracts either directly or indirectly as a support function
Minimum 5 years-experience with program/project management or program integration processes
Previous production program management experience in proposal to execution transition
Operations experience in production, supply chain, and/or quality
Strong business acumen, including negotiation and conflict management skills
Organizational, planning, and time management skills
Presentation skills and ability to address complex issues & solutions with senior leadership
Financial experience managing fixed price contracts
Risk and opportunity management
