Lockheed Martin Applications Engineer - Level 2 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: The Manufacturing Systems Applications

Engineer will be an integral part of a

cross-organizational team of experts supporting

the implementation of various production

operations capabilities using the Siemens

Xcelerator tool suite in general, and the Siemens

Team Center Product Lifecycle Management

(PLM) system specifically.

Participate in the development, documentation,

training, and deployment of new Production

Operations Business Processes associated with

the implementation of Xcelerator tools, primarily

Team Center.

As an active member of an Agile Scrum team

they will be engaged in the creation and

execution of User Stories and Features and

should be familiar with Agile processes and

ceremonies.

Additionally, they will be involved in PLM testing,

including the creation and execution of test

scripts, the documentation of defects, and assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of

defects.

Finally, end user training and on-going support

will also be provided by the Engineer.

Familiarity with production operations business processes and tools is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of general computing concepts (ie.,

databases, programming logic, hardware, etc.)

• Business Analysis, Process Re-engineering, or

Project/Program Management experience

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management

(PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and/or

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the

Aerospace and Defense industry a plus

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in

Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a

related discipline.

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Ability to understand and document current

state and future state business processes

• Experience with Manufacturing / Production

methodologies, systems and processes

• Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six

Sigma

• Experience with Dassault 3DX, Siemens Team Center, or other Product Lifecycle Management systems, etc.

• Experience defining software requirements

needed to support business needs/Business

Analysis experience

• Experience defining and implementing

Business Process Reengineering

• Experience performing Systems Integration

• Experience working with DoD Projects

especially in a Classified environment

• Familiarity creating and using Augmented

Reality experiences

• SAFe Agile Experience a plus

• Basic Programming experience a plus

• Familiarity with QIF and MTConnect a plus

• Current Active Secret Clearance a plus
