Aerotek Aviation Research Inspector in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Currently hiring 2 immediate Corporate Aircraft Research Inspectors for a Part 145 repair station in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. These roles are 6 months contract to hire, 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm. We offer weekly direct deposit, paid holidays, full health benefits (health, vision, and dental), 401k, and weekly overtime hours. Starting pay is $33-$40/hr BOE. We are hosting onsite interviews the week of 5/16 to select the qualified candidates with anticipated start date of 5/30.
Must have 5+ years experience in researching/inspecting aircraft logs and records (preferably from a 145 repair station that maintains corporate aircraft).
These positions are responsible for performing aircraft parts logs research, assuring that documentation on aircraft is properly updated, maintained, and executed before returning aircraft to customer.
Research aircraft records as required to generate aircraft status reports to assist service managers and the production department.
Assist A&P technicians with locating technical documentation.
Ensure that all mechanics have acquired the proper documents to inspect the aircraft effectively and efficiently.
Ensure that the facility research library is updated as required.
Perform record keeping to comply with regulatory requirements for the repair station.
Manage aircraft maintenance records and promote customer aircraft maintenance program.
Audit work orders for errors to facilitate a safe and airworthy operation of aircrafts.
Research aircraft log books for airworthiness compliance deviations and damage history
Manage aircraft records and maintenance programs for Part 135 and Part 91 aircrafts.
Write logbook entries for ADs, SBs, 337s, minor discrepancies and major inspection.
Assist with internal and external vendor audits.
